We will have over 30 teams from around the world performing, all bringing their unique style and humor to our festival. In addition to our amazing shows, we also offer workshops taught by some of the best improvisers in the world

Our community is passionate about improv comedy and creating a space for improvisers from all over the world to come together, learn from each other, and perform in front of enthusiastic audiences. We believe in the power of improv to bring people together and create unforgettable experiences.

CRAIG UHLIR

Craig Uhlir was born and raised in Chicago, in the USA. After completing his training at Chicago’s big three improvisational schools: Second City, improvOlympics, and the Annoyance, back in the 90’s, Craig began playing with Harold teams Deep Schwa and Vahalla. He also played at ComedySportz Chicago for 4 years doing short form improv. He toured with the Second City National Touring Company going around the world and then performed in Second City Las Vegas at the Flamingo hotel for 3 years.

These days Craig teaches improvisation at iO and The Second City. He still performs every Sunday night in Deep Schwa “Chicago’s longest running Harold team” now at the Annoyance. Craig has been playing for over 24 years and teaching improv since the turn of the century. Some of Craig’s work can be found at his website craiguhlir.com. Craig and Jim Carlson Performed in Middle Age Comeback, many of which can be found online and at vimeo.com.

Craig has supported our festival from the very beginning and inspired us all to "make fun choices" on and off stage. His workshops are nothing short of game-changing, offering a transformative journey that'll shift your improv gear into overdrive! This madman of energy entered our stage in 2017 together with Stacey Smith, and they created the Funkledoufs - high-octane synergy show you can only see in Oslo.
