Gibberish are Trondheim’s most active and fascinating improv group, made up of a motley group of academics, migrants and international agents and the only group doing improv in English in Trondheim! Gibberish have been growing together since August 2014, and became an association (“forening” in Norwegian) in August 2016. We hold regular open practices every week at ISAK Cultural Center, and bi-weekly shows in Cafe Stammen, in Trondheim. We offer shows and workshops on communication and team-building. Our show will distill our mind-blowing Sound of Gibberish musical to a psalm for Oslo.
Take one part musical theatre obsession, one part improv nerd, a generous dash of vocal talent and throw it all in a blender. Then add a scoop of boundless energy and you have all the ingredients for a show that will nourish you more than any green smoothie could. In ‘Mimi & Me’, Mimi van Amerongen improvises the twisting and interweaving lives of bold and distinct characters, singing trough their trials and tribulations and captivating the audience all along the way for this one-night-only musical spectacular.
