“I've learned to be a more versatile player. I have learned the ability to take the reins in the scene and not have to wait for the other person to make things happen. Jason has a clear pedagogy and his improv philosophy is pithy and distinct. I have taken his classes multiple times and each time I walk away with new golden improv nuggets.”

“Jason really gives you a workable comedic formula that is in a language you can understand. He really sets you up for successful scene work. I've taken his classes multiple times and my choices are stronger.”

“The best part of Jason’s class is the personalized attention on individual struggles. He pinpoints each student’s needs and gives a little nudge, leading to scenes which are easy and fun to play. Jason's lessons fill the gaps between different schools and philosophies. I’ve learned so much about the different elements of scenework and I feel confident to be able to play with anyone because of Jason’s advice.”

“I make better choices as an improviser and have become a stronger player since studying with Jason. Run, don't walk to take class with Jason Shotts!”
