The Happiest Scientists in the World(UK/NO)
The Happiest Scientists in the World are the duo Erick Castellan (UK) and Aree Witoelar (NO).
Erick and Aree met while facing their fears in musical improv and quickly found shared passions in drawing and "slow burn" improv. In HSIW, we explore the inherently funny comedy in our lives through familiar characters and relationships, inspired by Dummy and TJ & Dave.
Erick performs in The Nursery Theatre London on the main house The Verbs, and is one half of Happiest People in The World. Aree performs with The Improv Speakeasy and is the artistic director of Impro Neuf International, Norway's first English improv theatre.
Murder of Crows(DK)
Every body cheats, everybody lies, no one can be trusted. This is a 30 minute film noir improv set where the title is provided by the audience. A protagonist emerges through this narrative format and we follow their journey, and all the characters they meet in this dark and dingy world based on the film genre from the 1920's and 40's.
