Saturday 25th October Lillesalen
Conrad and Simone have improvised together since 2012 as part of The Ghost Sheep, an international English-language improv troupe based in Brussels that unfortunately died of Covid. In 2024, they unleashed a duo on the world. The consequences are unimaginable, but their on-stage chemistry is undeniable, so with a spoonful of wit and a smattering of experience, they enjoy bringing their formats to life in front of new audiences.
This time they are bringing a new (to them) format and will be exploring the possibilities of the monoscene. Ever been in that situation where you have to be somewhere waiting for something and the last person you want to spend time with is there too? That’s The Waiting Game. The audience and the improvisers together discover who our protagonists are, how their relationship got to this point and where it is going next - or isn’t!
Kjært Barn (Loved Child) is a local team from Impro Neuf playing on the home field for OIF. Our name refers to the old proverb a loved child has many names. In our case five, one for each of the five members of the team. Our preferred format is fun, bite-sized short-form improv for all audiences, and sometimes, but not always all ages. So, if you love short-form, improv games, laughing and fun get off your seat and come to our show.
The Sound of Neuf is a big ensemble formed to keep the magic of Musical Improv Theater flowing in the veins of Impro Neuf, following originally the Deltones format, brought to us by Stacey Smith. The Sound of Neuf touches everything from silly little crazy tunes to deep subjects in a crazy journey through music and emotions.
We are an authentic Chateau Neuf-born and raised improv team, formed originally as a mixer before the 2019 OIF. Freudian Slippers have been experimenting with various show formats ranging from pure longform to shortform and game-based variations. We aim to bring the subconscious of our characters to life on stage, exploring the funky, twisted, adorable, and thought-provoking aspects of human beings. This is all inspired by the lovely audience, though any resemblance to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental - of course:)@
That Thing We Do invites you into their living room - a space filled with real-life stories that spark scenes that always bring the business. And that business is laughter and hilarity. This cozy and relatable show takes unexpected turns, diving down comedic rabbit holes full of twists no one (not even the performers) can predict. Consisting of seasoned performers from the city of Copenhagen this team has been captivating audiences for five years on local stages and at festivals across Europe including Edinburgh, Oslo, and Stockholm.
Katy is from England, Vinny is from Canada. Together they are the international duo, Oak and Maple, and they are pleased to present the World Premiere of "Any Minute Now".
"Any Minute Now" is a show about two acquaintances who eagerly await the arrival of a mutual friend. They distract themselves to pass the time as any of us do: talking about anything and everything. If this sounds like "Waiting For Godot", you're correct. It does sound like that. Except this one's improvised.
Saturday 25th October Teaterscenen
SWIPE is Arnikas signature show. It’s an improvised, music infused duo show, where the audience chooses the characters. The characters are generated on the spot, and the audience votes instantly on whether they want to see the character in the show or not. Get ready to dive into the reality of the chosen characters. Will Teddy finally be able to tell the truth to aunt Cathy? The stage is set. What drama appears no one knows.
Toy story meets La Ronde
Loose Connections is comprised of 7 people with connections to 12 countries who enjoy the heck out of playing together in the 1 and only Oslo, Norway.
Third Person is a dramatic improvisation theatre company, set up 25 years ago. This year 2 of the company move away from heavy themes to explore the tedious lives of Norman and Charles. A tragi-comedy of older men. Advice is asked for and given. What could go wrong.?
Big, ambitious plays at the National Theatre starring all the best actors are great and all, but they can be so looooong. We're here to fix that. For one show only, a group of international superstars is getting together to give you the full experience - in a fraction of the time. It'll be efficient and magnificent. Or, quick and great. That's shorter, so we'll go with that. No interval!
Für Garderobe keine Haftung lives the improv spirit where humans are prioritized and where the joy of playing theatrical improv passionately leads to wonderful shows touching the audiences heart. During the show “Library of chance” we ask the audience to select a random book (from our selection or of their own) and we will read random pages as inspiration of the scene and bring everything together at the end.
