Annie (she/her) is a Singapore-based theatre practitioner by night and researcher by day. Improvising for over 10 years, she loves working with movement and narrative. Recently, she's been focused on interdisciplinary approaches (using tech, visual arts, and traditional and contemporary Asian practices) to develop improv shows and expanded ways of thinking. She's been found onstage at festivals in China, Australia, France, Vietnam and the Philippines, and recently served as Co-Artistic Director of the Singapore Improv Festival 2024.A trained stage actor, she has performed with some of Singapore's leading theatre companies, and is currently developing as a playwright with performances staged in 2023-2025. She is also a corporate trainer and has facilitated applied improvisation workshops for clients in the government and private sectors. She loves drawing from all kinds of art forms and finds deep satisfaction in helping others experience the feeling of joyful, provocative inspiration.
