Oluwadamilola Abdulai-Apotieri (Damilola; he/him) is an applied theatre and improv practitioner, facilitator, and social change advocate with over a decade of experience in Applied Improvisation, Improvisational Theatre, Playback Theatre, and Theatre in Education. His work spans across South Africa, the USA, England, Bulgaria, Serbia, and Nigeria, where he uses storytelling and play to foster empathy, connection, and transformation. As CEO of Access to Play, Damilola leads creative initiatives that address pressing social issues such as gender-based violence, climate change, and children's rights. His approach is rooted in empathy, joy, and co-creation—inviting people into spaces where they feel seen, heard, and empowered. Damilola’s facilitation style is both warm and dynamic, making him a sought-after teacher at global festivals, conferences, and retreats.
